If you’re a frequent subscriber to our “Coaches’ Corner” (and we hope you are!), you will remember we discussed, last week, the idea that, a fundamental problem preventing people from achieving their purpose in life is that they believe they have all the time in the world to do it. They think that if they don’t start their mission today, then “it’s no big deal; I’ll just do it tomorrow.”
Now, while it’s true-you should not wait a single second to be who you were created to be-it’s important to temper that notion with the fact that it’s never too late to start the process! Many people, especially in this country, feel that that if they devote their lives to a job that they don’t love, in order to obtain a certain status that leaves them feeling unfulfilled (all the while sacrificing their health along the way), then they are achieving their purpose in life; this is not the case! Moreover, IT DOES NOT HAVE TO STAY THAT WAY!
So long as you have a strong, healthy, and functional human machine (your body), you have the ability to become the person you have always wanted to be; live the life you’ve always wanted to live; and impact the world in a way that no one else has been able to before.
Celebrated American author F. Scott Fitzgerald once said, “For what it’s worth: it’s never too late… to be whoever you want to be… I hope you live a life you’re proud of, and if you’re not, I hope you have the courage to start over again.”
The world needs, more than ever, for YOU TO BE YOU. We want to make sure that there is nothing standing in your way.
